1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to HYBT Technologies, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation ("HYBT", "we", "us", or "our"). We operate the HYBT PrivacyNode pre-launch reservation programme and the website at hybt.ai.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Reservation data (via Stripe)

When you place a $25 pre-launch reservation, Stripe collects and processes your payment information on our behalf. We receive from Stripe:

• Your email address
• First and last name (if provided)
• Country of billing
• Reservation reference and timestamp

We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe is our payment processor. Their collection and use of your payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

2.2 Contact enquiries

If you email us at dev@hybt.ai, we retain the content of your message, your email address, and any other information you voluntarily provide, solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.

2.3 Website server logs

Standard server infrastructure may collect IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited for security and operational purposes only. This data is not used for advertising profiling and is not shared with third-party analytics services.

3. What we do not collect

• We do not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels on this website.
• We do not collect data from the PrivacyNode device. The device operates on your local network and we have no access to its camera feeds, inference frames, event logs, or stored data.
• We do not collect biometric data of any kind.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect solely for:

• Processing and managing your reservation, including issuing confirmations and processing refunds
• Sending you campaign updates, launch notifications, and material changes to reservation terms
• Responding to enquiries and support requests
• Complying with legal obligations

5. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

For individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are:

• Contract performance: processing your reservation and managing your early access placement
• Legitimate interests: sending campaign updates relevant to your reservation; security and fraud prevention
• Legal obligation: complying with applicable law

6. Data sharing and third parties

We share data only as necessary:

• Stripe, Inc.: payment processing. Stripe operates under its own privacy policy and is certified under applicable data protection frameworks. Stripe is our only payment processor.
• Email infrastructure providers: for sending transactional communications, under appropriate data processing agreements.
• Legal and regulatory authorities: where required by law or valid legal process.

7. The PrivacyNode device and your camera data

HYBT Technologies, Inc. has no access to data processed by the PrivacyNode device. The device is designed to operate on your local network. All camera feed processing, inference, and event logging occurs on the device itself. Raw video, inference frames, and locally stored event logs are not transmitted to HYBT's servers. We do not receive, store, or process your camera footage or presence data.

8. Data retention

We retain reservation data for as long as necessary to manage your reservation and comply with legal obligations. If you request a refund and your reservation is cancelled, we retain minimal records as required by financial and tax regulations. You may request deletion of non-legally-required data at any time by emailing dev@hybt.ai.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements); object to or restrict certain processing; data portability; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email dev@hybt.ai. We respond within 30 days.

10. International data transfers

HYBT Technologies, Inc. is incorporated in the United States (Delaware). If you are located in the EEA or UK, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards including Stripe's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Payments are handled exclusively by Stripe and are not processed or stored on our own servers. No internet transmission is entirely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

Our reservation service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, contact us at dev@hybt.ai.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to reservation holders by email and noted at the top of this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance.
